This issue has been corrected for HealthFrame v3 - our next major release.
We don't know exactly when HealthFrame v3 will be available (so this may do you no good).
But our beta testers have seen this new capability in our last beta release.

The backup location seems to be automatically created in my documents folder on my C: drive.

We are very sorry for this problem. That message implies that HealthFrame has crashed. This could be either due to data corruption, installation corruption, or a software bug (or all of the above).
Anyhow - the easiest way for us to fix this problem is to schedule a time with desktop sharing software. Please send email to ...

You're on the right track, but in the Beta version that I'm using, Daily Summary isn't an option on my drop down menu.
