• Re: Suggestion - Add on to Visits window v2.1.6

Robert, this is an interesting suggestion that can make follow up visits easier to schedule - eliminating a fair amount of data entry in the Basic Information section (visit type, provider, co-pay, etc). We will be sure to forward your idea to our development team for future enhancements. The implementation may get a little more ...

  • Re: Location, location, location!

Bill, LOL. There was similar discussion earlier this year. Try the Search on 'organization' and look for April 9, 2007 in particular.

  • Suggestion - Add on to Visits window v2.1.6

Most times the next visit date and time are established at the end of the office visit session, so I enter that as a Add New visit after recording the After Visit Notes. What would be nice in the Visit window is new fields to enter the Next Visit Date and Next Visit Time, then have the program create the Add New visit with the Basic ...

  • Re: Dates of Tests

Bill, I've spent considerable time inputting a large and varied amount of data into HFE for my wife...made mistakes along the way, discovered features by trial and error, offerred a number of suggestions and so forth. This is a good application and well worth taking the time to become familiar with it. There is much to be ...

  • Re: Dates of Tests

I'm not sure this answer will make sense to you, but here goes. I entered the doctor's visit first. Then I created a test record and found the name of the test in your database. I then filled in Ordered section entering the visit with the doctor. I then looked at the Administered By section and thought 'This test has not been administered yet'. I ...

  • Re: Location, location, location!

Thanks for the quick reply. The example you used for having more than one location to record is easily understood: however, the use of location name when used with providers (both organization and individual) was not as clear to me. As you know, the aim of relational databases is to keep data duplication/redundancy to a minimum. I entered a ...

  • Re: Location, location, location!

Another use for this field is for companies that have more than one location in a city and they (or you) identify them by their street or area location - such as The Orange St Facility, or Brown Ave Facility.

  • Re: Dates of Tests

Heres the low down on how to enter information in Ordered and Administered sections of TESTS. It is easiest if the office VISIT when the order was given and the VISIT to the test facility are created first, before creating the TEST record. This is assumed in the following explanation. We start in the window for a new test. First, expand ...

  • Re: Dates of Tests

Bill,I am not sure how you entered the data for your test, so I've created a new test, ordered in April and to be taken June 25, 2007 (please see image below). Note the settings carefully, in particular the specific list item that I selected to enter the test administration details. With these settings, note the medical history summary report ...
