LeeR,
Thank you for your input on the reporting support for medications.
Please let me first clarify a point. The "CCR Report" has been designed by the AAFP (American Academy of Family Physicians), independently from the effort to develop HealthFrame. It is not uncommon for mismatches to exist, in these circumstances, in the information that is tracked/displayed by software systems. This is the case with some of the information in the CCR report that is not currently captured by HealthFrame, as you point out (form, indications, etc).
In addition, you have identified a data element (number of refills) that had not been properly 'mapped' to the CCR specification. Thank you for reporting this bug! This has been fixed for future releases.
Records For Living does not own the rights to the AAFP CCR Report and therefore it is unlikely that we would modify the CCR report to replace it with a medications section that better matches our internal information model. We do, however, offer two of our own reports that would be good candidates to implement your suggestions:
- Home > Reports > OpenHealth Reports & Services > Medications Summary and
- Home > Reports > Summaries > Medical History Summary
Please note that the Medications Summary report already displays the Prescriber, the RX number - though not the notes... We will forward your suggestions to our development team. Thanks!
Also please note, in case you are interested in tracking the reason why you are taking particular medications, that you can link your medication to the conditions and treatments that relate to it (see image below).
Finally, thank you for your closing words of encouragement with regards to how HealthFrame is progressing. We could not continue to improve our product without the input of users such as yourself. We appreciate your feedback and we will work to enhance HealthFrame to better meet our customers' needs.
Thanks,
Suppor Team
