Dear Jan,
The HealthFrame 2.1 help files have a lot more information on this topic, but we just wanted to make sure you knew of the great new support for expenses that's in the software.
If you look at the pictures we've attached (in multiple replies), you'll see some examples of how HealthFrame can help you manage your healthcare-related expenses:
1. You can enter expenses either directly on the registry or in context with where the expense occurred (medication, visit co-pay, etc). Either way, you can see the expense in the registry - though if you link it to your medical records, the expense will show up there too.
2. Once you have the information about expenses you can then create however many custom reports you want (please read up on customization support in HealthFrame). For instance, you can create time-limited reports (2005 vs. 2006, last month, the first quarter, etc), or select certain types (co-pay, deductible, etc)
In the next few days we expect to publish an OpenHealth Service (OHS) plug-in that will let you export your expenses to Excel. Stay tuned! :-)
