Unable to Edit existing Expense record

I put in records for prescriptions etc, and I'm not able to Save the record to make changes. Save button is grayed out after I make changes. Only available options are Delete and Close, which does not save changes. I've noticed this before but didn't have time to report it. It needs to work as it should. Please fix.

Could you kindly provide a screenshot?

Your comments don't make it clear if you are having problems with the expense register page or the medication editing page. I've tried both and not had difficulties.

This could be something specific to your PHR, or something is specific to a particular page.

The other think you could do is try editing one of the sample PHRs. Here is a picture of my editing the Jose Gonzalez sample PHR, and editing one of its medications. Notice how the changes to "reason discontinued" cause the page in the "open pages' section to become green, and the save and revert and cancel and OK buttons are enabled?

Re: Unable to Edit existing Expense record

I've had trouble doing the same task, but did not detail it here. It's not 100% of the time and I haven't figured out what triggers it, but occasionally, I cannot edit an expense record either, though its been a while since I encountered the problem (perhaps because it's been a while since I added an expense record).

    - TIA for your help!

Re: Unable to Edit existing Expense record

After I read this issue, it seemed familiar so I checked my other posts. I mentioned this difficulty in a post from 6/22/16, point #4 in post 1774 in reply to post 1773.

In your reply (post 1780), I believe you identified that there is an issue with adding relationships to expenses.

Sorry for my delay in responding. Yes, it's all related to Expenses. For instance, under separate Medications, I create related Expense records for the Copays, then also create Expense (Mileage) records under those (copay) expense records. I already had a Mileage expense for one medication on same date (mileage trip), but want to link the same mileage-expense record to the other expense-copay records too; I can "Add Link" but the Save button is grayed out so it does not save.

Re: Unable to Edit existing Expense record

Great catch! 'Dealios' note that this was already diagnosed saved me an hour of debugging. You are right.

    I fixed this for v3.0.2.

    Thanks!

    When will v3.0.2 come out?

Re: Unable to Edit existing Expense record

I don't have a definite date in mind. But this gentle reminder has gotten my off my duff, and I'll hopefully get to it shortly.

Hardest part is testing... Maybe I'll do the release and hand it out for limited testing first?

This was 2 years ago. What's the ETA for 3.0.2?

Re: Unable to Edit existing Expense record

Unfortunately, it appears that software development for this application is dead. I haven't seen activity on this forum for 2 years. Ashame. It had such promise.
