Hilarious!
I was just tonight discussing the idea of pre-exporting some encrypted data to a drop-box folder that was in essence, the same data you are descriping, and then doing a simple iPad app wrapping Ajax/HTML that loaded (decrypting) that data.
Thats geek talk for basically what you said (but with a veneer of security, and a bit more ...

I know a lot of us has asked for an IPAD/iphone/mobile app for Healthframe to make our records more portable. I also read that you were hoping to be able to partner with an existing mobile application.
Just a thought . . . have you considered the possibility of providing an html based export document? When I was considering another PHR product,

I appreciate the clarification and workaround. I will try that workaround and see what happens!
Thanks for trying to fix it in a future update.

Thanks Jennifer!
This is a great idea! But I HOPE the features we're working on (better filtering) will allow you to use normal visit types, and still be able to break down your visits by the sorts of logical categories you want.
Please also look at the new Visit Summary report which has group by Provider, which might help.

How does Healthframe organize/sort the ''residences'' list under personal health information?
I originally had a list of past residences there with dates I lived in each place and my current place of residence was always first and therefore what showed up on the reports. In version 3, they are all mixed up (even with the dates listed in the ...

I don't know if this helps, but I created my own visit types so that I could filter by visits (i.e., Allergy Visit, Primary Care Visit, Eye Doctor Visit, etc.). That allows me to not only filter by date, but to group all of my specialty appointments together so that I can quickly find information. Don't know if that will achieve what you are ...

Thank you for such a quick response.
Looking forward to the release of 3.0.1

FYI, the issue with date filters not working correctly (last N years, etc) has been fixed for v3.0.1 (available very soon).
The rest we'll need to dig into and respond to later.
