    This should only occur if your web connection is in offline mode. You can see if this is happening by starting up Microsoft Internet Explorerer, and trying to navigate. If it warns you you are in offline mode - it will offer the opportunity to go into ONLINE mode. Select online, and this problem should go away.

    Alternatively, rebooting will likely correct this problem as well (since when you reboot, you probably default to coming up in online mode).
