Re: Installing HealthFrame in my wife's computer

    Dear Jan,

You may use the electronic download version to install HealthFrame on your wife’s computer.  You do not need to purchase the CD-version.

Once you have installed HealthFrame on your wife’s computer, you will still need to transfer the personal health record (PHR) files from your computer to hers.  In order to do that, start HealthFrame on your computer and open your PHR and then hers.  (Remember that you each have separate PHR databases). For each of your PHRs, go to the file menu and use the Backup command.  HealthFrame will prompt you for a desired file location for the PHR backup file.  Remember that location.  Remember that you need to create two separate backup files.

Copy those files to your wife’s computer (either with a USB key, using a network, emailing, etc).  After you have installed HealthFrame on her computer, you will be able to restore your PHR and hers to her computer from the start-up HealthFrame dialog (Load Backup button).

Thanks for your interest in HealthFrame,

    Support Team
