Esther,
I tried reproducing the behavior you indicated and I was unable to. Here is what I did:
- I created a link to a file in my hard disk (file://c:/image.gif)
- I disconnected from the internet - I verified that my browser was unable to access any web pages
- I exited HealthFrame (to make sure the information wasn't cached)
- I re-started HealthFrame and clicked on the link I saved. The file opened fine...
Can you please verify:
- Are you still having the same problem when you are disconnected from the internet?
- Can you access your links when you are connected?
- Can you send us a sample link you are using (e.g. file://c:/image.gif)?
- You mentioned a scanned file - is it possible that you are linking to an html file, which in turn redirects you to an internet location?
Thank you,
