    suggestions

i have some more suggestions for improving your already great product.

make it possible for us to customize the visit type and other pull down menus to what each user is familiar with.(Add /remove component upon first use)

in regards to my other post on what to expect at each visit thereare some great books in the what to expect seies by  by Heidi Murkoff and Arlene Eisenberg that can be used as reference or  www.keepkidshealthy.com  has a wealth of information on the topic if you could link to their web page.

    Dear Christine,

Thank you for your kind words about HealthFrame.  Thank you also for taking the time to share your ideas on how we can continue to improve HealthFrame.

First, I would like to make sure that you are aware that HealthFrame currently allows users to select 'Other' as the selected type.  In such case, an additional edit field shows up in the form and you can enter whatever value you would like.

Second, you might like to know that future versions of HealthFrame will be capable of being customized to include users' entries as part of the selection lists.  This will of course  minimize the re-typing.

The upcoming 2.0 release of HealthFrame does not yet support this functionality, but the coding infrastructure has been put in place and we hope to add that feature soon thereafter.

Thank you for the link to the website.  For a number of reasons, HealthFrame releases will most likely contain links to government sponsosed websites.  We may in the future be able to link to partner websites and/or provide some user customization in this area too.

    Thanks again,
    Support Team

you had mentioned that future versions will be capable of customization for user entries, but what about add/remove feature to customize components that one may not use.

    Re: suggestions

    Dear Christine,

By 'components that one may not use' do you mean high-level navigation sections of HealthFrame, such as for instance, "Communications" or "Activities" or "Devices"?

If this is what you mean, HealthFrame 1.0 has built-in support for what we call IntelliNav.  If you have enabled the IntelliNav feature (check your options menu), then HealthFrame automatically learns from your usage, making your most frequently used sections readily available, while 'hiding' others less frequently used.

If you meant something else, please give us specific examples.

    Thanks,
    Support Team

    Re: suggestions

i meant to be able to customize the drop down menus by adding/removing items that we may not use so one does not have to search in the pre defined lists for tests, treatments, activities, conditions, etc.

another option is to simplify the menus with the most common and have user defined for the lesser knowns.

    thank you

    Christine
