The
eGFR test is also known as the
Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate and is considered the most accurate way to detect changes in kidney status.
HealthFrame lists hundreds of different medical tests and supports synonyms as well as brief descriptions and links to external resources such as the NIH's MedLinePlus web site -
link for this particular test.
Given the large number of tests built into the HealthFrame knowledge base, we limit the list by default to the "Only Common" tests - see image below. Users can choose to search using other criteria including:
- Starts With
- Primary Name
- Any Name
- Any Name or Code
- Any String
- Contains
- Primary Name
- Any Name
- Any Name or Code
- Any String
In the image below, you'll see what happens when you select "Contains/Any Name" and start typing the primary portion of the full name of the eGFR test. Note how HealthFrame starts filtering the list of possible test values as you type!
Finally, please note that even if you can't find your specific test name, HealthFrame still allows you to type in the name you are familiar with and then to enter the measurements for that test.
