HealthFrame 2.1 supports a new feature called OpenHealth Services (OHS). With OHS, we at Records For Living can expand HealthFrame to offer new reports, health management tools/services and additional interoperability with other programs.
We have published a new OHS service that allows you to export the medical expenses you track using HealthFrame to any spreadsheet program that supports CSV (comma-separated value) files - this includes Microsoft Excel.
If you have HealthFrame installed in your computer, adding this new plug-in is easy. Just click on this link: http://www.recordsforliving.com/OpenHealthServices/Plug-ins/Export%20Expenses%20to%20Spreadsheet.OHSD
Once the plug-in is installed, go to the Home > Reports > OpenHealth Reports & Services area and click on the Export Expenses to Spreadsheet link. That's it!
The picture below illustrates how this works for our sample record (Susan Marie Taylor).
Be sure to check for new HealthFrame OHS plug-ins at http://www.recordsforliving.com/OpenHealthServices/ServiceDirectory.aspx
Keep your ideas coming for new plug-ins or let us know if you'd like to find out how you too can contribute your own plug-ins to the HealthFrame community.
