    Dear Kasia,

Thanks for evaluating HealthFrame.  We're happy to hear that you find it easy to use and helpful in caring for your new baby.  (By the way, ADORABLE baby picture you added to your profile!  Smile [:)])

We have received some recent feedback from Canadian users, in general pointing out areas where HealthFrame might benefit from some changes that would make it work better for Canadian Health systems, etc.  We do appreciate detailed information such as what you have provided here and we encourage you (and others) to let us know as you run into additional areas where we should consider making HealthFrame more Canadian-friendly.

Since you are a new user, I feel I should make sure you are aware of certain features in HealthFrame that may not be particularly obvious from initial use.

    1. While we don't include OHIP in the default list of coverages, you should scroll down to the bottom of the list, where you will find an ellipsis (...).  If you select it, you will be able to add any text you'd like (in particular, Ontario Health Insurance Plan).

    2.  The immunization wizard that comes built into HealthFrame is based on US CDC recommendations for child immunizations.  In fact, you should note the link at the bottom of the immunization wizard page to the CDC page: http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/PDF/wk/mm5451-Immunization.pdf

Of course, you can enter ANY date for your child's immunization for the actual dates when your child was vaccinated - even if it falls outside the immunization wizard's 'recommended' ranges.  If you find the immunization wizard confusing, because of these discrepancies, you can simply Add Immunizations without using the wizard altogether.

    3. Finally, with HealthFrame you can copy and paste providers, which may help you with the problem of double entry of addresses.  Unfortunately, we are still working on our improved contact management (which includes addresses, etc) and we do not have a way in general of sharing family member addresses.

Thanks for your feedback and we hope to hear more suggestions from you soon,
    Support Team
