One easy way to accomplish what you want is to customize the report to use the "date range" of today's date:

1.Click on the customization button on the context bar (Home > Reports > OpenHealth Reports & Services > Medications Summary - look for the ellipsis button ...).

    2. Select the Dates menu item and the Specify Range... sub-menu item

    3. A dialog box will come up asking you to enter the start and end dates.  Enter both values with today's date.  Click ok to close the dialog box.

    4. Your report will repaint itself with only the active medications.

In general, if you'd like to exclude any subset of information from any of our reports, you can also use shift-click.  This may be useful in some contexts when sharing some your reports (e.g. medical history summary) and you'd rather not disclose the entirety of your medical record.  Try this:

1.Click on the customization button on the context bar (Home > Reports > OpenHealth Reports & Services > Medications Summary - look for the ellipsis button ...).

    2. Click on "Edit Customizations...".  A dialog box will come up.

    3. Select the tab you want to customize, e.g. Medications.

    4. Shift-click on a range of medications you want to select.  (You can also CTRL-click if you want to select many but not necessarily a range).

    5. Click on the <<Remove<< button.

Please note in either scenario, you can SAVE your customization for later use.  Please take a look at the online help information for customizations for more information.

In general, we would like to improve on HealthFrame's filtering and customization capabilities.  Hopefully this is an area that you'll see much enhanced in future releases.

Let us know if you need further information or if you have suggestions on how we can make HealthFrame even better!
