The fact that you see the new 'Find Clinical Trials' plug-in does suggest that you have installed HealthFrame 2.1.3 (which obviously contradicts the version# you see).
Are you installing in the standard (default) disk location (c:\Program Files)?
As you suggested, taking the process in peices maybe the best way to proceed.
- First download the 2.1.3 update.
- Look at it (right click and say 'properties') - and verify that you have the right digitial signature, and that the version of the installer says '2.1.3'.
- Un-install whatever version of HealthFrame you have
- Verify that the c:\Program Files\Records For Living, Inc folder - and its contents - are gone (or at least that he program file is gone; of course this assumes you've installed to the default location).
- Then run the new - 2.1.3 - installer.
- When you have finsihed installing - the 'ReadMe' file that comes up ALSO displays the version of the software you've just installed.
- Also from the 'Start/Program Files/Records For Living/' menu the 'Installation Notes' file also shows the version. Similarly for the Help file.
- Then run HealthFrame, and check its version#.
I realize that's a lot of steps. You can skip whichever ones you want. But if you are trying to decompose the installation process, and see where things break down - these are the key points to look at to identify where the installation process is failing.
