Is there a way to place the repository on a home server

Is there a way to place the repository on a home server? With multiple PCs in the familty this would make access to the data easier.

Re: Is there a way to place the repository on a home server

Currently, Records For Living does not offer the ability to change the location of the data repository.  In addition, placing the repository on a home server would require additional support, to make sure that multiple family members aren't changing the records at the same time - similarly to how Microsoft Office will stop a new user from editing a Word file that is already opened by another user...

Records For Living has developed technology that supports sharing of larger medical records databases for use in clinics, hospitals and other health record management settings.  The HealthFrameWorks server provides the type of centralized control you are talking about.  Currently, the software is designed for institutional use and at this point we do not have a Family Edition of this service.  We will consider adding this support in future product releases.
