    Question ABOUT BROKEN BONES...

How do you enter a record for a broken bone with and without surgery? Are they different?

I had a surgery on a knee and an ankle at the same time.  How does that need to be entered?

    Thank you.

    Fred,

Thank you for your interest in HealthFrame.

You can enter broken bone information by entering a new condition (see screen shots below).  You should enter as much information in the comments section of your condition(s) as you can recall and as add potentially relevant information - for instance, whether surgery was required.

You can simply enter the 'type' of condition or you can use the 'picker' to search and select from our built-in library.

As for the treatment, you can enter a single entry for surgery on multiple bones, if you'd like.  Remember that it's useful to create links between the bone fracture (condition) and the follow-up treatment(s), e.g. surgery.  This will help correlate the information in your records.

Please let us know if we can be of additional assistance,
