Here’s something that proved useful for my wife’s hypertension and may be a candidate ‘add on’ for blood pressure(BP) record keeping or even an averaging tool for other numerical tests, e.g. blood.
A little history(without the details) – seeing ‘a few’ doctors at the same time has the disadvantage of crossovers in treatment. Doc 1 ...

The above post #779 shows a little quirk I’ve noticed with the way I post – the last paragraph or two in the post has a different, usually smaller font than the rest of the post. To avoid going over any posting time limit and losing the post, is write the post in a Word program, Copy the post, go to the forum, click new post, and Paste the ...

Good News. But. I'm going to have to hurry and compose a number of ''thoughts'' into understandable posts. LOL

Tests – Only Common, Template or Copy/Paste V2.1.6
On 4/18/07 I suggested a couple blood tests to include in the ‘Only Common’ list of test and also suggested consideration of a program revision to save user Test templates. Here’s another thought similar to HFE’s ability to copy data of a provider from one person’s file to ...

FYI. This condition occurred when recording the same test from three different dates.
HFE will arrange test column titles, left to right(1,2,3,4) in Medical History Summary(MHS), in accordance with the order entered from top to bottom(1,2,3,4) under Item Name with the first record. The left to right arrangement will continue in MHS as ...

Re: TESTS>Measurements>Item Name text and Units
EDIT: this post is similar to Post 727, 6/5/07 only more issues.
The Medical History Summary(MHS) displays the Units for every line item in a list of tests over a number of dates. This repetition of units can be avoided by not entering units in the Units field, but rather by ...

Noting that the Test portion of the Medical History Summary(MHS) is being enhanced with the next upgrade or version of HFE, here are some ideas to consider.
Click Tests, Add New, and open Measurements with the intent of using only the ‘Item Name’ and “Value” fields to record a text test(like an x-ray): Currently the HFE program is designed

>Have you come back to that Test page after saving, quitting HealthFrame and restarting?<
If the question is relative to the single instance of not saving the repeated ‘Item Name’, no, I didn’t think of trying to analyze the problem. The only check I might have done was open the Medical History Summary to see if the change was ...

FYI. This observation may be a quirk or may be intentional programming.
Click Tests, Add New, enter something in the Type field, open Measurements, Add New. If, for example, the word Spine is entered in the ‘Item Name’ field, enter a ‘Value’, click Save and all is well. Click Add New and enter the same word Spine in the ‘Item Name’

Observe that when a surgery, for example, is recorded as a Visits > Visit Type > ‘Hospitalization’ and also recorded as a Treatment > Type, that the Hospitalization and Treatment records both appear on the Medical History Summary(MHS) providing, conceivably, the same information. Since surgeries are treatments, technically, and a hospital ...
