Actually there are a few more suggestions for the Tests section in particular...in rough(only I can understand) form. Starting this Wednesday I'll have more time to be at the computer. Deciding which ideas are worth while may help with the current quandry.

Re: Copy/Paste in Test Value Column v2.16

Robert,

You are correct that measurement values currently expect a 'single entry', textual or numeric. It wasn't designed to support multiple lines.

What you ask for makes perfect sense in the context where the measurement in fact includes more information and are in fact 'free text' notes.

We are considering adding a new style of 'value' which would support 'free text' as a data entry alternative. It is unclear if that would make the interface unclear, or if there are ways to make the distinction more intuitive. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Support Team
Copy/Paste in Test Value Column v2.16

Intro - Intent is to record text without ‘Units’.

Under Home>Health>Tests>Test (xyz) - any text with an keyboard Enter ending (e.g. separation of two paragraphs) copied from another source and pasted under the ‘Value’ column fails to include the text of the second paragraph. Also, while in the Value window hitting Enter causes a “Select Measurement Type” pop up instead of moving the cursor to left hand margin on a new line.

In other words it is impossible to insert two lines or two paragraphs that start at the left hand margin under the Value column. The text, in the example two paragraphs, can be pasted with two separate actions, but the text is continuous, not separated as in the original source. Basically, the Value column does not recognize the keyboard Enter function. Is there anyway around this condition?
