We have published yet another new OHS service: a service that helps you find clinical trials for any of the conditions you track using HealthFrame.

If you have HealthFrame 2.1.3 installed in your computer, you already have this OHS plug-in installed - you don't need to do anything else to start using this new service.

If you have an earlier version of HealthFrame installed, you can either upgrade or download the plug-in from the OHS plug-in repository: http://www.recordsforliving.com/OpenHealthServices/ServiceDirectory.aspx

Either way, once the plug-in is installed, go to the Home > Reports > OpenHealth Reports & Services area and click on the link to 'Find Clinical Trials for Your Medical Conditions'. That's it!

The picture below illustrates how this works for our sample record (Susan Marie Taylor).

Note that the service lists, for every condition you track in HealthFrame, and for every location listed in your Personal Information a link to the accredited www.ClinicalTrials.gov web site. Note also that if location is not relevant to you, this service also generates a link to any clinical trials pertaining to your condition(s) regardless of location.

Finally, if you are tracking a large number of conditions, remember that you can use the customization feature (ellipsis on context bar) to include/exclude conditions from this service.

Please keep your ideas coming for new plug-ins or let us know if you'd like to find out how you too can contribute your own plug-ins to the HealthFrame community.

Happy Holidays!
Support Team
Records For Living
