In the Expense form, you can add a negative number in the amount field, i.e. -3.00 (for minus $3.00). Hope this helps!

There may be occasions when you wish to record that something cost you nothing. This is different than just not having an Expense entry because not having an entry may mean you forgot to enter something.

Also a negative amount might be used to indicate something caused you to receive a discount.
