Thank you for your interest in HealthFrame.

You are asking about two different features currently supported in HealthFrame. The ability to:

link to the personal health records (PHRs) of family members;
filter the family history summary to display the health history of only selected family members.

Each family member record (Home > Basic Information > Family > Family Member) has the ability to link to a PHR that is in the family's PHR database. This 'linking' mechanism makes it easier to navigate to the family member's PHR (use the "Open PHR" button). In future releases, we foresee the ability to import aspects of a family member's health history into your own record. For now, you still need to enter the known medical history for your family members. Future releases will also likely be able to link to remote PHRs, that are accessible through HealthFrameWorks servers.

Once HealthFrame has your family's history, you can still customize (use the ellipsis menu - ...) the family history summary report (Home > Basic Information > Family > Family History Summary), by selecting or un-selecting family members.

Linking to family members' medical history

I am interested in your software for medical tracking. I downloaded the
demo tonight. How do I get the records to link up to so it shows the Family
history summary and the Medical history summary of the family members in the
reports? I see in the sample records that the links are there.

I want to be able to pull up say my mother and have it link the medical
conditions. Or be able to pull up say my mother and her brothers - have it
link them only. Is that possible? Can you pick and choose who is linked
for the family history? I would like to be able to enter Aunts, Uncles,
Grandparents, grandchildren, cousins etc and be able to see the medical
history. Is that possible?
