This is a great suggestion!

We've had some discussions in the past with HealthFrame users who have asked us to consider improvements to the prescription/medication refills management. We are considering ways to enhance this functionality for our upcoming major releases.

As an aside, support for refills can actually be rather 'tricky'... Please consider Robert's posts on partial refills, which occur when a patient does not actually get the exact amount (number of pills) originally expected per refill. This may happen because of insurance restrictions or because the pharmacy may not have the quantities you need.

Thank you for your kind comments about HealthFrame. We think it's a "WOW" tool also...

Ok we have a WOW of a program in HealthFrame but lets make it really WOW WOW,

in the medications data input and on reports we enter a new prescription and Rx info, if we could enter quantity in the pill box it could calculate when it is time to order a refill or contact the doctor for a new prescription since it has the data for how often the prescription is taken per day. Then a message would alert the user - time to reorder.

Likewise, when we refill the prescription it should take the new Rx and decrement the refill info.

That would be really cool.
